As part of the ESA incubation programme, People and Place are researching the development of Copernicus LFDC-IRL – a high-resolution, annually updated land cover classification product that combines Sentinel-2 Earth Observation data with local planning datasets to deliver actionable, policy-aligned insights for planning authorities.
